Tree of life therapy was inspired after working as a physiotherapist for over 24 years in a wide range of areas and specialities, with many satisfied clients and encouragement by many of them to go for my dreams!

By utilizing walk and talk therapy, sessions are conducted in any of the beautiful parks and outdoor spaces* in and around the greater fort worth area while the therapist and client walk and talk together. Have had difficult life histories, where conventional forms of therapy may not be successfully accessed. Trauma including sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.

It’s the first day of autumn, which reminded me that i wanted to share a wonderful activity called the tree of life. Instead of asking the affected person to discuss and revisit a problem which can be traumatising in itself, they were asked to talk about the positive aspects of their life first through the metaphor of a tree. For many it is a symbol of strength, personal growth and development.
