This Is Eternal Life. Eternal life could not be given to believers, unless christ, their surety, both glorified the father, and was glorified of him. Eternal life is more than just a hope regarding a future blessing.

We can know that we have it. Eternal life begins when we put our faith in jesus. When the bible speaks of eternal life, it refers to a gift of god that comes only “through jesus christ our lord” ( romans 6:23 ).
